At BEAT ACADEMY, a lot is possible. From regular one-on-one or group lessons to online sessions, workshops, duo-lessons with flexible scheduling, and many other options. In the end, the goal is to support students as best as possible in achieving their goals, without forgetting to keep the fun in music!
In one-on-one lessons, we are there only for you and can shape your lesson plan flexibly. In individual coaching, we can address your very personal goals, practice and deepen specific skills in a targeted way, and prepare you for next steps such as bookings. Your ideas and projects take center stage here, and we fill your knowledge gaps right where they arise.
Like group lessons, one-on-one lessons are available in a regularly scheduled version for continuous learning. In addition, we offer flexible appointments and intensive courses for special undertakings or urgent projects (see below).
Group lessons have proven their worth over the years and are a very effective way of learning, especially for beginners. The advantage over one-on-one lessons is the active exchange with the other group members. Besides learning skills together, it’s above all about absorbing input from those around you and thus gaining further sources of inspiration for your DJ set or your own productions. The input of other participants helps new talents in particular to learn in a more focused way.
Learning in a group is also fun. You can present yourself to your fellow students and get direct feedback on an equal footing. Thanks to a lived team spirit, stronger students help carry those who are still catching up and motivate them. We make sure that a group is always at the same skill level.
To cover specific topics in more depth, ask guest instructors in their areas of expertise, or simply learn a skill in a short amount of time, we offer workshops at BEAT ACADEMY from time to time. These are open to active students, but also to alumni and interested people who haven’t taken a course with us yet. Workshops take place partly on-site and partly online.
The intensive courses are comparable in content to our continuous courses but deliver the knowledge in a condensed form in a very short time. Do you want to play at a birthday party in 2 months? Do you have time only irregularly and can’t commit to long-term group lessons? Then our intensive courses are the solution for you!
Beyond our standard program, we are flexible within certain limits. We offer combinations of in-person and online lessons (producing courses also fully online), practice sessions for students who don’t own equipment or want to learn on specific devices, and courses in English as well.
