As a well-connected school, BEAT ACADEMY has a number of local and international partners who lend our students equipment at low cost, offer discounts on software and plugins, provide affordable licenses or trial periods, or make other benefits possible!
T & B SOUND DORTMUND
T & B Sound, located near the Dortmund harbor, takes care of every challenge for you, from consulting and planning to the final realization of an event.
ABLETON
Ableton Live is the DAW we primarily use in our producing lessons at BEAT ACADEMY. Its Live mode bridges the gap between producer and DJ: Live Act!
ALGORIDDIM
djay Pro by algoriddim is an innovative DVS solution that we use at the school alongside the established market leaders. It’s compatible with many devices and modern in its range of features.
LEXICON DJ
Lexicon DJ is a library management tool for DJs who take library management seriously. Maintenance, tidying up, and syncing to multiple DVS apps, plus much more.
DJOID
djoid helps ambitious DJs plan mixtapes and DJ sets. With its unique graphical interface, mixing becomes “storytelling”!
IMAGINANDO
imaginando from Portugal offers software solutions for musicians, producers, and visual artists. My favorite, VS2, is used in many of the BEAT ACADEMY videos!
FABFILTER
fabfilter is a fixture among producers. Their equalizers, compressors, and limiters are the bread and butter of the channel strip, and fabfilter has plenty more to offer!
SXRATCH
sxratch is software for (surprise!) scratch-loving DJs. The program gives you a visual representation of your movements and helps you practicing!
